Villa of the Mysteries, Pompeii

In connection with the exhibition Tangle of Existence, Ginny Sykes collaborated with the artist Teresa Mangiacapra to choreograph L'iniziazione. Mangiacabra, is an Italian artist and one of the founding member of feminist collective Nemesiache. The interactive multimedia performance was inspired by the rituals depicted in the fresco cycle at the Villa of the Mysteries, Pompeii.
